Why subscribe?

1-2 times a week you’ll be hearing from me, Taylor Goldsmith, or my brother, Griffin Goldsmith, or maybe even someone else if the circumstances around some information we’d like to share warrant someone else manning the ship for a second. But while most hosts of podcasts and radio shows tend to ask some version of the age old question - “but what about YOU?” - this Substack account is most shamelessly committed to the inverse - “but what about US?!” Any memory, daydream, photo, fun fact or tidbit from the vaults that we deem worthy will be fodder for these posts. It’s the behind-the-behind-the-music stuff that no one is asking for but that hopefully someone will find interesting. Song histories, updates from tour, and general observations - all shared with the hope of bringing this Dawes family even closer. And all FREE!

What’s not free?

Just the music recordings and videos. That’s all. Wait, make money off of one’s music, you say? Are you insane, Taylor? That’s a fair question in these dark times but we figured what the heck.
