Dawes makes our days move easy, and surely have at least a hundred and ten thousand Malcolm Gladwell hours under their collective belts in what he says it takes to attain perfection at a thing. This is a gift to we the people of the united states state of the union of Daweams and anyone lucky enough to have somehow managed to stumble upon them and their music and their energy every single time they take to a stage anywhere in the world to do that thing they do. When all we want is all they know how to do for the music lover in us all... alls I know is that I'd rather be fishing with and for Dawes which is why I will never quit hanging around in this air condition town where I live my life hunted over my phone searching a worldwide web for any evidence to prove to me that Dawes like Springsteen can prove it all night prove it all night prove it all night for my love. They say the present is a gift. To me, Dawes is ever present everywhere. More than a group of musicians. more like a movie. More like a song. More like a mindset. More like a mantra. The old TV commercials, the baseball fanatic, the take away punch line, baseball is life, the rest is just details. That's what Dawes is to me. bigger than the sum of its parts. More than a feeling. More like a feeling. The losers only think about the winners. Dawes only thinks about the game. Always taking care of their fans and taking care of people who have never heard of them before in their lives but perhaps one day will. And when that day comes I hope a feeling rush is over them that screams over the music, where have you been all my life? Thanks for doing this guys, it reminds me of some of the good old days long passed, when I was lucky enough to catch Gerry G when he could still get his telescope up. The stronger the telescope the more stars there are. You guys are stars and it's high time the world looks up and sees just how bright your stars shine.
Where was this? That theater looks so...neat and tidy...not to mention small/intimate. I hope those seats are/were mostly used for holding purses and jackets while the boys were playing...
